गुरु शब्द का उच्चारण ही ह्रदय में प्रेम भर जाता है और उसी क्षण अपने प्रिय गुरुदेव का चेहरा आँखों में आ जाता है | अपने आप आंसू धारा प्रवाहित होने लग जाती है | क्योंकि एक गुरु ही है जो शिष्य के अपने होते हैं बाकि सभी रिश्ते तो यहीं के यहीं रह जाते हैं | जहाँ गुरु हैं वहाँ सभी हैं | इस संसार रुपी भव से एक गुरु जी ही होते हैं जो पार लगा देते हैं | सिर्फ गुरु शब्द का उच्चारण भी अगर प्रेम भाव से किया जाये तो भी सिद्धियों के दुआर खोल देता है | इसलिए गुरु दर्शन हर शिष्य के दिल की कामना ही नहीं, लक्ष्य भी होता है | दिल में प्रेम भरिये और अपना लें अपने सद्गुरु जी को आगे बढ़कर, उतार लें उनका प्रेम अपने ह्रदय में और बसा लें उनकी दिव्य आभा अपनी आँखों में और उनकी यादें अपने ख्यालों में, यही तो है, उनके साक्षात् दर्शन करने की विधि | मैं यहाँ एक साधना दे रहा हूँ जो सद्गुरु के दर्शन और आशीर्वाद दिलाने में सहायक होती है | आप दिल से करें और विशुद्ध प्रेम से उनको रिझा लें | क्योंकि आज तक मैंने यही सीखा है कि गुरु को कभी साधा नहीं जाता उन्हे तो रिझाया जाता है, ह्रदय की गहराइयों से प्रेम करके |
विधि
१. इसे किसी भी गुरुवार शुरू करना है, ५ दिन की साधना है |
२. वस्त्र– धोती, पीताम्बर पहनकर पीले आसन पर पूर्व विमुख बैठें और “दैनिक साधना विधि” से एक बाजोट पर पीला वस्त्र बिछा कर गुरु पूजन करें |
३. शुद्ध घी का दीप लगा दें और सुंगधित अगरबत्ती भी लगा दें |
४. प्रसाद के लिए हलवा बनाकर रख लें | इन पाँच दिनों में हर दिन अलग अलग भोग लगाएं , पहले दिन लड्डू जो शुद्ध घी के लें , दुसरे दिन खीर, तीसरे दिन पाँच पीस बर्फी के और चौथे दिन पांचो किस्म के मेवे और पांचवें दिन हलवा लें | पूजन पांचो दिन पूर्ण प्रेम भाव से करें | फिर पाँच माला गुरु मंत्र, फिर एक माला निम्न साबर मंत्र का जाप और फिर पाँच माला गुरु मंत्र जाप करें | इस प्रकार पांचो दिन कर्म करने से गुरु जी का साक्षात् दर्शन या स्वप्न दर्शन होता है या स्वप्न में उनसे बात हो जाती है |

ॐ तारन गुरु बिन नहीं कोई श्रीति स्मृति मध् बात परोई |
थान अद्वैत तभी जाये पसरे मन बच कर्म गुरु पग दर्शे ||
दरिदर रोग मिटे सभ तन का गुरु करुना कर होवे मुक्ता |

The mere utterance of the word "Guru" fills the heart with love, and in that very moment, the face of one's beloved Gurudev appears before the eyes. Tears begin to flow on their own. Because it is the Guru alone who truly belongs to a disciple — all other relationships remain bound to this world alone. Wherever the Guru is, everything is there. It is the Guru alone who carries one across this ocean of worldly existence. Even the mere utterance of the word "Guru," if done with love, opens the doors to spiritual accomplishment. This is why Guru Darshan (the vision of one's Guru) is not just every disciple's heartfelt wish, but their very goal. Fill your heart with love, and embrace your Sadguru wholeheartedly — receive his love into your heart, hold his divine radiance in your eyes, and his memory in your thoughts — this indeed is the method of attaining his direct vision. I am sharing here a sadhana that helps in attaining the Guru's darshan and blessings. Perform it from the heart, and win him over with pure love alone. Because what I have learned to this day is that a Guru is never "mastered" through sadhana — he is won over, through love from the very depths of the heart.
Method
1. Begin this on any Thursday; it is a 5-day sadhana.
2. Clothing — wear a dhoti and pitambar (yellow silk cloth), sit facing east on a yellow aasan (seat), and following the "daily sadhana method," spread yellow cloth on a low wooden seat (bajot) and perform Guru worship.
3. Light a pure ghee lamp and also light fragrant incense.
4. Prepare halwa and keep it ready as prasad. Across these five days, offer a different bhog each day — on the first day, laddus made of pure ghee; on the second day, kheer; on the third day, five pieces of barfi; on the fourth day, five kinds of dry fruit; and on the fifth day, halwa. Perform the worship with full love on all five days. Then chant 5 rounds of the Guru mantra, followed by 1 round of the following Sabar mantra, and then another 5 rounds of the Guru mantra. By performing this practice for all five days, the seeker attains the direct vision of the Guru, or his vision in a dream, or even converses with him in a dream.
