लक्ष्मी प्राप्ति हर प्रकार की सुख समृद्धि के लिए – भगवान दत्तात्रेय भगवान विष्णु के अंश अवतार होने से सम्पूर्ण लक्ष्मी के स्वामी हैं | इस साधना से व्यक्ति की दरिद्रता दूर होती है | घर में नई खुशियों का आगाज होता है | कर्ज से छुटकारा मिलता है | रुका हुआ कार्य चलने लग जाता है | धन की वजह से सभी रुके कार्य बनने लगते हैं | प्रचुर मात्रा में धन आने लगता है |
विधि
एक बाजोट पर पीला वस्त्र बिछा दें | उसपर भगवान दत्तात्रेय जी का दिव्य महाअवधूत यंत्र अथवा चित्र स्थापित करें | उसके सामने एक कलश स्थापित करें | कलश पर एक पाँच पल्लव लगा कर एक सूखा नारियल चुनरी लपेट कर रख दें | महायंत्र अथवा चित्र का पूजन करें | आप पंचौपचार पूजन कर सकते हैं | महायंत्र या चित्र के सामने चावल यानी अक्षत की पांच ढेरी लगा दें | उनपर पाँच दिये घी के लगा दें | उन दीयों का पूजन भी करें | यह बात याद रखें कि यह दिये पूरी रात जलते रहें | इसलिए बड़े दिये लें | उनमें तिल का तेल या घी इस्तेमाल किया या सकता है | विशेषकर तुलसी दल ,बिल्वपत्र और गेंदे के पीले पुष्प चढ़ा कर पूजन करें | कलश का भी पूजन करें | मेवों का भोग लगाएं | गुरु पूजन और श्री गणेश पूजन साधना से पहले करना अनिवार्य समझा जाए | आसन पीला या लाल लें | दिशा पूर्व ठीक है | अब तुलसी की माला से निम्न मंत्र का 9 माला जप करें |

साधना पूर्ण होने पर प्रसाद अपने परिवार में बाँट दें | इस प्रकार यह साधना पूर्ण हो जाती है और घर में धन धान्य की बरसात होने लगती है |
For attaining Lakshmi and every kind of happiness and prosperity — since Lord Dattatreya is a partial incarnation of Lord Vishnu, he is the lord of complete Lakshmi (wealth and abundance). This sadhana removes a person's poverty. New joy begins in the home. One is freed from debt. Stalled work begins to move forward. With the arrival of wealth, all stalled matters begin to come together. Money begins to flow in abundantly.
Method
Spread yellow cloth on a low wooden seat (bajot). On it, install the divine Maha-Avadhoot Yantra of Lord Dattatreya, or his picture. In front of it, install a kalash (pot). Place five mango leaves on the kalash and wrap a dry coconut in a chunari (sacred cloth) and set it there. Worship the Mahayantra or picture — you may perform the five-fold (panchopachar) worship. In front of the Mahayantra or picture, place five small heaps of rice (akshat). Place five ghee lamps on them. Worship these lamps too. Remember to keep these lamps burning throughout the entire night — so use large lamps. Sesame oil or ghee may be used in them. Worship especially with tulsi leaves, bilva leaves, and yellow marigold flowers. Worship the kalash too. Offer dry fruits as bhog. It should be considered essential to perform Guru worship and Shree Ganesh worship before the sadhana. Use a yellow or red aasan (seat). East is a suitable direction. Now, using a tulsi mala, chant the following mantra for 9 rounds.

Once the sadhana is complete, distribute the prasad among your family. In this way, the sadhana is completed, and it begins to rain wealth and grain in the home.
