In Sanatan Dharma, there exist many secret spiritual sciences—profound, rare, and unparalleled. The ancient sages, saints, and gurus discovered these hidden paths and passed them down through the lineage of Guru Parampara. That is why only those truly connected to this lineage—not just to the physical form of a Guru but to the Guru Tattva itself—are considered worthy of receiving such sacred knowledge. It is a path meant for the one who has a genuine hunger for truth and realization.
One such profound vidya is Siddha Kaali Kalpa —a spiritual system involving the invocation and worship of various benevolent forms of Goddess Kali. These forms are not merely symbolic; their practice brings total transformation and completion in a seeker’s life. For a spiritual aspirant, the four pursuits of life— Dharma (righteousness), Artha (prosperity), Kama (fulfillment), and Moksha (liberation) —are the true markers of success. There are many ways to attain these, but for one who walks the spiritual path, unseen obstacles arise at every step—hidden enemies, karmic debts, ancestral curses, family bindings, unfulfilled past-life actions, and more.
Caught in these karmic entanglements, the seeker often doesn’t even realize where the journey to self-realization, liberation, and union with the Supreme gets blocked. Without divine assistance, it becomes nearly impossible to identify or overcome these subtle layers of bondage.
Siddha Kaali Kalpa is a vidya that not only grants spiritual strength but also helps one achieve success in worldly matters. In a way, it is a complete system that fulfills every aspect of a seeker’s life—spiritual, emotional, and material. The forms of Kali described in this vidya help cut through the web of Maya and worldly attachments, while also making the path of spiritual growth easier and more fruitful.
Many have heard of names like Mahakali, Dakshina Kali, Shyama Kali, Siddha Kali, Chintamani Kali, Hans Kali, Guhya Kali, Gorakh Kali, and Shiv Kali . Within the Siddha Kaali Kalpa , we will share deeper insights into these forms, as well as some rare and secret aspects of their worship. These practices, once given to seekers by saints and Gurus during times of great confusion and stagnation, became part of what we now call Siddha Kaali Kalpa .
1) Hans Kali
At the time when I had been walking the path of sadhana for nearly thirteen years, my spiritual experiences were intense and powerful. I could feel divine energy flow through me, and my practices would bear real effects. But strangely, after a few days or sometimes just weeks, I’d feel completely drained—as if the energy I had invoked was no longer with me. I didn’t understand where it went.
Still, I didn’t stop my practices. I assumed either I hadn’t done them correctly or that the energy had been used up somehow. Even my Guru Mantra and Naam Japa began to feel less effective. My work would stall unexpectedly. Feelings of sadness, anxiety, and restlessness lingered. Financial resources began to dry up. I couldn’t help but wonder why people around me—who had never practiced anything—were thriving while I, despite all my effort, felt stuck.
I fell deep into this thought until one day, I remembered my Guru and placed all my concerns before him. He listened patiently and remained silent for a while. Then he revealed a startling truth—my sadhana energy was being distributed among others.
He explained that many of the people I was emotionally connected to—friends, family, even distant acquaintances—were unknowingly receiving the benefits of my spiritual energy. Some had been steeped in poverty before but were now progressing rapidly. This was happening because I had felt sympathy or pity for them at some point. The compassion in my heart, or even just a few words spoken with concern, was enough to redirect my energy toward them. Their suffering, their karmic debt, then became my burden.
He continued, saying, “This restlessness, this sadness—you’re feeling the weight of others’ struggles. It’s not yours.” I was stunned. I asked him if there was any way to retrieve that energy and make it work for me again.
That’s when he introduced me to the Hans Kali practice. “Hans” means soul, and “Kali” here is the protective force that guards and restores the soul’s energy. The energy gathered from your spiritual practices strengthens your soul. But emotional weakness, envy from others, frequent contact with people in deep poverty, or even words spoken carelessly can cause this energy to disperse.
Hans Kali Sadhana draws all of this scattered energy back to you, reintegrating it into your soul. When your energy is withdrawn, the person who was unknowingly receiving it returns to their original karmic state. But remember—emotional strength is crucial to keep your energy within yourself.
He then taught me the mantra and method. One has to chant 108 malas for 14 days to fully activate the practice. Alternatively, a Sava Lakh (125,000) mantra chanting ritual can be done. While chanting, keep a glass of water in front of you and drink it after the session—this helps gather the dispersed energy. On the final day, offer kheer (sweet rice pudding) to the goddess. This practice stabilizes your energy and strengthens the soul’s connection to it.
I thanked him from the bottom of my heart. Right after he left, I tried the mantra for just 10–15 minutes. I saw visions of sparkling lights, like stars, flying toward me and merging into my heart. I knew—it was my scattered energy returning. Even in that short practice, I felt lighter. The heaviness and sadness had already begun to fade.
Later, I performed the complete ritual, and over time, the energy from all my previous sadhanas slowly returned. I could even sense which friend or family member had been supported by my spiritual force. The energies from my Reiki practice, mantra chanting, and pilgrimages also came back to me. My life started flowing again. Projects resumed, health improved, and bodily pains that had been caused by carrying others’ burdens began to heal.
Because this practice is sacred and received through Guru Parampara, the mantra is not shared publicly. But if you feel your spiritual energy is scattered, and you’re caught in similar confusion, you can receive the mantra and initiate the practice after proper guidance and initiation.
